LittleJammies.com, a division of Panda Apparel LLC, an online apparel retailer specializing in children's pajamas gives back this December! Little Jammies is proud to announce they have made a charitable contribution of over 350 pairs of cozy children's pajamas to the Pajama Program of New York.
"We are so excited to find a charity that can benefit the children in our area especially at Christmas time" says owner Donna Marino of Little Jammies. The nationwide program is a 501(c) "not for profit" organization that provides new, warm pajamas and books to children in need throughout the United States.
The Pajama Program started in 2001 with personal contributions from Genevieve Piturro along with her friends and family. The program has grown nationwide and receives contributions from generous supporters across the country. It has been featured on many television talk shows and other media outlets.
Little Jammies strives to provide quality products to our customers. "This charity in particular, is perfectly matched to our business offerings as well as our hearts." states owner Scott Marino. "We are so proud to be a part of something so wonderful, especially at the holidays. As a small company, it's not always easy to help, especially in a slow economy, but we do the best we can."
An excerpt from a poem written for the children who benefit from Pajama Program says it best: "We shall take comfort in knowing that we have touched the children deeply. Tendered the gentle souls and sown the seeds of love that they so desperately needed" - Demo DiMartile
Little Jammies looks forward exploring additional ways to work with the Pajama Program into 2009 and beyond!
