Two Boston Area CPA Firms Merge

CPA and business advisory firms Rucci Bardaro & Barrett P.C. of Malden, MA and Mathias Barnes & Henshaw P.C. of Lexington, MA have merged.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) December 15, 2008 -- Accounting and business advisory firms Rucci Bardaro & Barrett P.C. of Malden (www.rb-b.com) and Mathias Barnes & Henshaw P.C. of Lexington have merged, the companies announced today. Financial terms of the merger were not disclosed.

The merger combines the two firms' client rosters and personnel under the Rucci Bardaro & Barrett banner, and expands the number of RBB offices in New England to three. RBB's partner group also has expanded to five with the addition of Roy Henshaw, a founder and managing partner of MBH.

In addition to traditional audit, accounting and tax services, the expanded practice will provide strategic planning and business advice to entrepreneurs and privately held companies. The expansion also adds agriculture as a practice category to RBB's existing service specialties in the construction, retail, manufacturing, nonprofit, medical and professional services sectors.

RBB is the Boston-area affiliate of Russell Bedford International, a worldwide network of accounting firms in over 70 countries.
