InventHelp® Client's Invention to Have Second Run on QVC in January 2009

A California chiropractor and InventHelp® client has invented a seat cushion to make sitting more comfortable.

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) December 15, 2008 -- California InventHelp® client, Dr. Eric Liners has been a chiropractor for twenty years. During that time, he started to think of ideas that could protect the spine and elevate pressure on the tail bone for those who have to sit for long periods of time. He developed the "Ergonomic Seat Cushion" to do just that; transfer the pressure away from the pelvic bone while sitting.

Not knowing how to move forward with his invention, Liners visited an InventHelp® sales office in California and decided to become an InventHelp® client. It was through this relationship with our company that his idea was presented to QVC. With QVC showing interest and placing an initial purchase order, Intromark Incorporated, InventHelp's licensing division, set up manufacturing for the invention in China.

After manufacturing the product, the Ergonomic Seat Cushion aired on QVC. The network was happy with its performance and has since placed a second, larger purchase order for the product. It is slated to air on QVC again in January of 2009. This InventHelp® client has made a financial gain.

But, that's not the end of the story for Liners or his product. After the first run on QVC, Intromark approached Stu Berger of Integrated Merchandise Group International, a Mamaroneck, New York based company with which Intromark has a long-standing relationship and challenged him to manufacture the seat cushion for a lower price, which Berger was able to do. Berger has since licensed the product and signed an agreement with Liners, who will now be paid royalties on the Ergonomic Seat Cushion.

Most InventHelp® clients do not have the opportunity to have their invention manufactured and presented on QVC.

From 2005-2007, we signed Submission Agreements with 5,959 clients. As a result of our services, 98 clients have received license agreements for their products, and 20 clients have received more money than they paid us for these services.

InventHelp® is seeking marketers and distributors in the medical or therapeutic industries. For more information on the Ergonomic Seat Cushion, or for ordering, contact us at 217 Ninth Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222; call (800) 851-6030 or (412) 288-1368; fax (412) 338-0497.
