"I am honored by this recognition," states founding CEO Brian Meshkin. "The San Diego community is a vibrant, amazing place to live and do business and I am grateful for the time I have lived and worked in the region."

In the article, the reporter states, "At 13, Meshkin led the effort to pass the first bicycle-helmet law for children after his friend was hit by a car and killed in front of his house. The tragedy sparked a lifelong interest in healthcare.
