Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) December 26, 2008
Children are often caught up in divorce proceedings and paternity actions that they have no control over. Fortunately, there are minor's counsels appointed by the court system, to ensure your children's rights will be protected.
Pasadena divorce and family law attorney, Kayla Horacek, has completed the required minor's counsel training and has been appointed as a minor's counsel by a judicial officer in Los Angeles County. Horacek has been working in the field of family law for over 3 years and has profound knowledge in child custody, child visitation, and child support.
According to Ms. Horacek "This is why I became a family law attorney, to work with children and represent their interests in a legal environment."
Ms. Horacek attended Santa Clara University and graduated Summa Cum Laude, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in June of 2002. Following graduation, Ms. Horacek worked as a behavioral technician at a private school for autistic children in Sacramento, California.
Ms. Horacek attended Southwestern University School of Law and in November 2005, she became a member of the California State Bar. Shortly thereafter, she also became a member of the Pasadena Bar Association. She has received a CALI award for excellence in Torts, and has competed in the National Moot Court Competiton.
