Panviva Releases Major Upgrade of its Business Process Guidance (BPG) System SupportPoint

Panviva, the health insurance industry's leading provider of Business Process Guidance (BPG) systems, announced a major upgrade of its Business Process Guidance (BPG) system, SupportPoint.

Wakefield, MA (PRWEB) December 17, 2008 -- Panviva, the health insurance industry's leading provider of Business Process Guidance (BPG) systems, announced a major upgrade of its Business Process Guidance (BPG) system, SupportPoint.

The current economic climate has seen a surge in interest in the BPG software in the US, Australia and the UK because of its appeal to businesses looking for a self-funding and low-risk solution to reduce costs, increase efficiencies and improve customer service in a competitive and tight market. Primarily, SupportPoint is being used to guide customer service representatives swiftly and accurately through customer interactions in real time to improve efficiency, reduce errors and reduce the reliance on training.

Panviva has enhanced numerous areas of its solution and added new functionality to ensure it is offering the best product to an increasing number of customers. Within days of release the new SupportPoint 7.0 has already been adopted by QBUILD, the NSW Dept of Commerce and Delta Electricity.

New features of SupportPoint 7.0 include:
- a newly designed author interface that is more intuitive and that significantly reduces the time and effort needed to create content
- enhanced role management capabilities that makes it easier to manage permissions
- redesigned report manager with more customizable report formats
- a new Satellite server that enables remote locations, such as offshore contact centres, to setup their own local server with content replicated from the main central server for faster local access, especially in locations with limited network or bandwidth access.

According to CEO David Frenkel, BPG is resonating strongly with businesses locally and internationally, evidenced by new contracts just signed with Stellar, British Telecom and BUPA. Other clients around the world include Thomson-Reuters, Hewlett-Packard, Caterpillar and Fosters.

"Given the current economic environment and the urgency with which businesses are looking for support and cost reduction, we wanted to ensure we were providing the most productive product possible. Therefore we were focused on releasing SupportPoint 7.0 before the end of 2008.

"Business Process Guidance is particularly appealing because it's quick to implement and provides a return within months not years."
