InventHelp®, America's largest inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Fort Worth, Tex., has designed a nursery night-light that provides visual entertainment for a child. This invention is patented.

"Pleasant Dreams" could enable children to watch images of loved ones or favorite characters accompanied by music. The invention would help children relax and fall asleep quickly. The unit could enable youngsters to feel comforted, secure and less fearful of the dark. The accessory would be easy to use and producible in a variety of colorful novelty designs, such as teddy bears and other characters.

Pleasant Dreams would consist of a plug-in night-light that would measure approximately three to five inches in height. The top would feature a hinged lid that would open to reveal a small film projector. When the night-light is plugged in, the projector would rise from inside the housing. The projector would attach to a hinge mechanism to accommodate forward or backward adjustments. The image would be projected onto a wall or ceiling via a lens mechanism. A variation resembling a pair of binocular also may be offered. A variation shaped like a teddy bear would contain the projector in the belly area. When a parent pushes down on the tail, a door on the belly would open and the movie would come on automatically. Pushing the tail up stops the film and closes the door.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
