For years Phil Kim has sought a better way to recruit qualified candidates for key positions at some of the country's most prestigious Interactive Media and Technology companies. Now he and a group of veteran recruiters believe they have the answer: CareerGrub.com.
CareerGrub (http://www.careergrub.com) is an employment Web site that empowers the job seeker to not only find his or her own dream job, but refer jobs to friends and earn lucrative referral rewards.
"It's really a win-win-win," says Kim, the site's co-founder. "Qualified candidates find their dream jobs or earn commissions for referring others. We connect highly qualified candidates with our agency clients, and the agencies fill their open positions quickly and with confidence knowing they've seen the best candidates available."
Registered members can match positions at leading companies with their unique qualifications, experience and compensation needs. Or they can simply recommend colleagues who are not already members themselves.
Membership to CareerGrub is free. The site currently offers commissions as high as $10,500 for dozens of featured Interactive media and technology positions, with new opportunities added each week. CareerGrub's average referral reward is more than $5,000.
Earning a commission is simple. You refer a friend for a position, and, if he or she is hired, CareerGrub pays you the listed commission. If your friend isn't hired for the referred position but is hired for another job posted on CareerGrub.com, you still get paid.
"It's a great way to make easy money just for sharing job opportunities with your friends," Kim says.
Members may search for jobs by location, specialization, industry, company size, professional level, experience and pay range. Current job listings include openings for project managers, web developers, interface designers, creative directors, account directors and media supervisors at leading companies throughout the US.
Members can register to receive targeted alerts about job opportunities relevant to their career interests. No personal profile information is ever disclosed without the member's prior consent.
CareerGrub.com is a new employment web site for Interactive Media and Technology professionals. CareerGrub partners with employers and search firms to present its members with information about great job opportunities related to their career interests. Members can search for jobs or refer jobs to friends and earn substantial commissions after their friends are hired.
CareerGrub was launched in December 2008 by experienced veterans from the Technology, Media, and Internet Consulting industries, and is advised by several seasoned recruiters. CareerGrub is headquartered in New York City.
