2009 SharePoint .Org Conference Keynote Announced

The second annual SharePoint .Org Conference will be held in Baltimore, MD March 22-24, 2009.

Winchester, VA (PRWEB) December 24, 2008 -- The dates and keynote speaker for the 2009 SharePoint .Org Conference have been announced. The conference will be held March 22 - 24, 2009 at the Sheraton Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, conference organizers have announced that noted analyst and author Josh Bernoff will headline the conference as keynote speaker.

The SharePoint .Org Conference focuses on how associations and non-profits can best utilize SharePoint to improve communications and productivity, but also includes content that is appropriate to all organizations that use SharePoint 2007. In addition to the general session, the conference will include more than 24 educational sessions that cover topics such as workflow, social networking, integration and InfoPath. Educational session speakers include non-profit executives, SharePoint consultants and Microsoft MVPs.

Forrester Research Vice President and principal analyst Josh Bernoff will deliver the conference's keynote address the morning of Monday, March 23. Mr. Bernoff will be discussing concepts from the book Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies, which he co-authored with Charlene Li. Josh's research, analysis, and opinions appear frequently in publications like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Broadcasting & Cable, and on national television news programs. He writes a column for Marketing News, a publication of the American Marketing Association. Josh has keynoted major conferences on television, music, marketing, and technology in Barcelona, Cannes, Chicago, London, New York, Rome, and São Paulo.
