'The Foreign Diplomats Ball' Set to Honor of the Inauguration of Barack Obama and Joseph Biden

The Foreign Diplomats Ball Committee in coordination with the Embassies of Ghana and Ethiopia will host an inaugural ball for the dignitary and diplomat community in honor of and welcoming the new Obama administration at the historic James Monroe Mansion in Washington DC. A portion of the proceeds of the event to benefit non profit organizations dedicated to democracy and change. The event will feature international cuisine and entertainment.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) December 26, 2008 -- The Foreign Diplomats Ball committee in conjunction with the Embassies of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia and the Republic of Ghana will host a pre-inauguration ball celebrating the inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama and Vice-President Elect Joseph Biden, Jr. at the historic James Monroe Mansion in Washington, DC on Sunday, January 18, 2009 from 5:30 pm to 11 pm. President-Elect Barack Obama and Vice-President Elect Joseph Biden, Jr. along with several prominent dignitaries, politicians and entertainers, as well as the ambassadors and staff of all embassies in Washington, DC have been invited to attend. Tickets will be made available to the general public after December 29 following a brief pre-public sale period to embassy staff and other diplomatic dignitaries.

Tickets are $300 per person for regular admission and $500 per person for VIP admission. Tickets may be obtained by accessing the Facebook event site at

The event will feature continental cuisine from Ethiopia, Ghana and other African nations and live performances by Ethiopian-born Grammy Award nominee, Wayna and master International phenom Ghanaian drummer Okyerema Asante . The event is being produced by Enjoyment Enjoyment Inc, in conjunction with JJ Ghatt Public Relations LLC and TMK Sports and Entertainment LLC.
