Blanco, TX (PRWEB) December 24, 2008
In the heart of the #1 US tourist destination--the scenic Texas Hill Country--author and fitness expert Tam Thompson will host Texas' first ebook signing of "Busy Sexy Body" (http://www.busysexybody.com) at the Blanco Public Library on Saturday, January 3rd from 2 to 4pm Central time. How will this unique ebook signing work?
"People will visit the library, get on the computers, and purchase 'Busy Sexy Body--How YOU can have a slim, sexy body in just 17 minutes a day, even if you think you're too busy!' and then I'll autograph a printed full-color cover and answer any questions," says Tam Thompson, B.S. and M.Ed. in Kinesiology and former owner of Thompson Fitness Training.
So who is Tam Thompson?
- She was a nationally-ranked powerlifter, bodybuilder and weightlifter who tied a world record on the bench press--240 pounds weighing 150.
- She was a runner for 27 years, including a college track career and marathons such as Houston and Pike's Peak…until a Total Knee Replacement at age 48 forced her to quit running and broke her heart.
- She is currently competing in whitewater kayaking (whitewater slalom racing and kayak polo) and was on the National Champion Team and the US National Team in Women's Kayak Polo in 2007.
- She's been a professional writer for 6.5 years and has ghostwritten many popular books and ebooks
…and she's a real woman who's suffered, battled and triumphed over real struggles like weight loss, depression, chronic pain, home fitness and healthy fitness.
"Busy Sexy Body" is more than just a fitness system with an ebook, three bonus gifts and the chance to win one of ten free Carnival Cruises aboard a "fun ship" to the Caribbean, the Bahamas or Mexico…it's a lifestyle solution for busy women who want to be sexy.
That's why Thompson says she's launching not only this ebook, "Busy Sexy Woman", but a whole line of lifestyle information and products, including her blog at http://www.busysexywoman.com.
In today's busy, overscheduled environment, most people don't have time to drive to a gym and back to work out, so Thompson brings the gym and the system to her readers with an accessible, affordable system they can use at home, at work or on the road.
"I think 'Busy Sexy Body' is on track to become the next "Body For Life", or "Burn The Fat" or even better," says Thompson, and adds, "I wrote it to help busy women. To add in some fun, since I'm big on fun, I gave the programs fashion-friendly names like 'The Lavender Program', 'The Sage Program,' and 'The Denim Program."
