Aqua has appointed Lloyd James Group as managers of its credit card insert programme. Companies can now access its credit card customer database via the inclusion of an insert in the company's monthly statement mailing. The aqua credit card offers a high proportion of renters, low-income earners, part-time workers and the self-employed. The card also specialises at targeting consumers who feel underserved by 'Prime' lenders.

This is a superb addition to the inserts market. In the current economic climate, consumers are naturally more hesitant to approach traditional lenders with a view to securing credit.

Aqua is offering companies the opportunity to access its credit card customer database via the inclusion of an insert in the company's monthly statement mailing, appointing Lloyd James Group (http://www.lloydjames.com) as managers of its insert programme. The aqua credit card - which has proved to be very popular at appealing to the rental market, with 53% of aqua customers currently renting as opposed to owning a property - is aimed predominantly at low-income earners, part-time workers and the self-employed. The card also specialises at targeting consumers who feel underserved by 'Prime' lenders.

Lloyd James Group's Managing Director, Lynn Stevens, states: "This is a superb addition to the inserts market. In the current economic climate, consumers are naturally more hesitant to approach traditional lenders with a view to securing credit."

"The added benefits of the aqua card, which promotes affordable monthly repayments, will chime with third party advertisers looking to ensure maximum impact in their customer acquisition campaigns. Insert campaigns generate high-profit responses at low-cost."

aqua customers are responsive to a large range of offers. Research suggests that aqua credit card consumers are responsive to leisure offers, child-related products and services, publishing and alcohol promotions.

Lloyd James Group (http://www.lloydjames.com) has had a spate of commercial wins this year, adding the aqua appointment to an ever-expanding list and media management portfolio which includes Homebase Spend & Save, Debenhams, Bauer Media and HBoS.
