Combining art and affirmation, artist, Janet Carroll Meeks' take on the Law of Attraction has lead her to launching her own take on the medium of garden stones which is evidenced on her new site, MudPies.biz. Launching in November 2008, the site has also added a new blog which reflects upon the concept of Wabi Sabi.

Logansport, IN (PRWEB) December 24, 2008 -- Lifestyles and emotions can be altered through simple phrases and affirmations. Inspiration can strike someone with no more that a few words as the catalyst. For artisan Janet Carroll Meeks, she was able to take these inspirations that affected her life and translate them into a medium that would be accessible to others.

With the help of her brother, Steve Carroll, Meeks took her personalized garden stepping stones, affectionately called "mud pies," to the internet with their collaborative web effort www.MudPies.biz. The brand new site, which launched in November 2008, has several different designs from the award-winning artist.

Since 2003, Janet's made over 300 mud pies
"Since 2003, Janet's made over 300 mud pies," said Carroll. "We have a store that has 20 items, but we also do custom designs. These are all handcrafted and many designs come from her own source of inspiration."

The designs on MudPies.biz are largely built from the Meeks' attempt to distill the Law of Attraction into seven easy steps: appreciate, imagine, intend, harmonize, trust, flow and allow. Meeks also does pet memorials in the form of garden stones.

In creating an all-encompassing web resource, Meeks and Carroll have also launched a weblog, www.UniqueGardenSteppingStones.com.

"The blog will reflect on the ideals of Wabi Sabi," explained Carroll. "It's an aesthetic that's created through imperfect beauty. Through the blog, we're going to offer gardening tips that will have the values of Wabi Sabi, as well as other helpful information that will relate Janet's art to the home."

While the world at large can break someone's heart and spirit, through motivation and inspiration, one can remember what must take place in order to achieve completeness and serenity. Whether it's a symbolic design or a phrase, Janet Carroll Meeks can translate it into a stone for people to remember for years to come.
