FL2, a high-end, full-service, interactive agency, won several 2008 W3 Awards, including a Best in Show Award, a Gold Award, and two Silver Awards. The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognize outstanding websites, web marketing, and web video developed by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide. The awards were announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA).
FL2 won a Best in Show Award for the Orinda Wilder website (http://www.orindawilder.com), a Gold Award in the Self-Promotion category for its own website (http://www.FL-2.com), and two Silver Awards in the Real Estate and Best Structure and Navigation categories for the Riverfront Park website (http://www.riverfrontpark.com). FL2 has specialized in producing world-class interactive since 2001.

More than 3,000 entries were received, and winning entries were judged and selected by the IAVA, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms. IAVA members include executives from such organizations as Coach, Conde Nast, Disney, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Estee Lauder, HBO, Monster.com, MTV, Polo Ralph Lauren, Sotheby’s Institute of Art, Victoria Secret, Wired, and Yahoo!.
Website entries were judged based on the following factors: creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design, and ease of use. To uphold high standards of excellence, fewer than 10% of all entries were selected as Gold Winners. Other outstanding entries were Silver Winners. Best in Show selections represent the highest mark of distinction and were also selected by the Academy based on scoring. The judges award Best in Show honors to only the top 1% of all work entered, and the Orinda Wilder website was one of only 33 sites selected out of the 3,000 competing sites.
FL2's award-winning websites are designed to give users a brand experience that incorporates unconventional and highly effective marketing and advertising techniques.
