Global EAP provider assists layoff victims and survivors with counseling and support services

As the wave of layoffs continue in this economic downturn, ACI Specialty Benefits reports that lay off support calls from workforce clients have more than doubled this year, as compared to 2007. In response, ACI is providing counseling and support services to the newly unemployed and their family members.

"Job loss can be devastating, and many newly unemployed are left to cope with overwhelming feelings of humiliation, depression, and failure," says Dr. Ann D.
