It's a plan that works for everyone

In an effort to enable donors to receive a tax break for 2008, Kars 4 Kids telephone lines will remain open 24/7 for the last 100 hours of 2008. Kars4Kids call center will begin overnight operations starting on December 27th at 8 PM, through midnight December 31, 2008.

"It's a plan that works for everyone," says Esti Landau, of Kars 4 Kids. "We found that many people simply don't have sufficient time during business hours to make a car donation and we think this will make it easier for them."

Indeed, the strategic move came at a time when donors want to take a bite out of their taxes - particularly in this down economy -- for 2008, and Kars 4 Kids was eager to cater to all their donors' needs. Tax deductions can be locked in for 2008 -- even if their car donation is not being picked up until after New Year's Day.

"We've used the formula we've always followed for optimum donor satisfaction," says Landau. "We do whatever it takes to make the process quick and hassle-free."

And then there's the kindness factor: "People are keen to give charity during the holiday season," states Landau. "There's something in the air. It's our busiest time of year."

Donors can visit their website at http://www.kars4kids.org and donate a car there, or call their 24-hour toll-free number at 877-KARS-4-KIDS (877-527-7454) for a fast and easy car donation.
