Steve Roh, owner of Center City Hypnosis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is pleased to announce that the City of Philadelphia has chosen to join governments around the world by recognizing January 4th 2009 as World Hypnotism Day.

World Hypnotism Day is a collaborative effort involving hypnotists from around the globe, dedicated to removing the myths and misconceptions while promoting the truth and benefits of hypnotism. Because hypnotism is such an effective tool for helping people become healthier and more productive, World Hypnotism Day fits in well with the ongoing efforts of the City to make Philadelphia a healthier place to live.

According to the proclamation: "I, Michael A. Nutter, Mayor of the City of Philadelphia, do hereby proclaim January 4, 2009 as World Hypnotism Day in Philadelphia, and urge all citizens to salute the hard work of these dedicated individuals, whose jobs contribute to public awareness by active participation."

In order to further spread knowledge about the benefits of hypnosis, several Philadelphia-area hypnotists are offering the public a free teleseminar on Sunday January 4th 2009 at 7pm Eastern Time. The dial-in number is (712) 432-0800 and the Participant Access Code is 447704#.
