Consumer Education Services Inc. (CESI) opened a new Client Services Department in December 2008 to provide consumers with better and more comprehensive financial services in the area of debt management. With the introduction of this new department, CESI has added six new client services representatives to the existing team of certified counselors providing one on one counseling.

CESI is a non-profit credit counseling agency that offers consumers a thorough analysis, better financial understanding, and effective solutions to their unique and individual financial needs. The opening of this new department comes at a time when almost every section of the economy is feeling the strain of recent recessionary trends. Coupled with factors such as job loss, more people are struggling with their loan repayments, especially credit card debt or personal loan debt. The new department will enable CESI to offer its financial services, to all consumers, including those who are not enrolled in the CESI Debt Management Plan (DMP). In keeping with the CESI mandate of helping individuals manage their finances better, the new Care Team will assist all those who are not part of the DMP, guiding them in meeting their financial goals.

Apart from counseling clients on unsecured debt management, CESI is also committed to helping consumers learn more about managing their money through a personal financial education plan that provides resources on eliminating credit card debt and making the right financial choices, as well as follow up contact by a Client Services Representative.

Recently, three new websites were launched by CESI as part of their continued commitment towards empowering consumers financially. These websites, http://www.endyourdebt.org, http://www.controldebt.org, and http://www.housing-counseling.org, address debt and housing-related concerns in a clear and detailed manner. CESI counselors can be reached online, or you can speak with them on 1-866-484-5373.
