Through these two tours, golfers will get to play the top championship courses in each destination, many of which are normally reserved for members only. The 14 day Best of Thailand Golf Expedition covers the four top golf destinations within Thailand -- Bangkok, Chiang Mai, River Kwai and Hua Hin. Seven of Thailand's best golf courses, such as Thai country Club (site of Tiger Woods' 1997 PGA victory), the Nicklaus designed Springfield Golf Club and the new Schmidt-Curley layout in Chiang Mai, are included in the package. In keeping with the expedition theme, all participants will be able to experience unique soft adventure activities and explore various historical and cultural sights in each destination. Those golf travelers who want to re-trace the steps of the Ho Chi Minh trail, made famous during the American-Vietnam War, will take great pleasure during the stops at the famous battlefields and war sights at "China Beach", Danang, Dalat and Chu Chi. Others who want to learn first hand about Vietnamese civilization will be fascinated by village life that will be seen during stops in and around Hanoi, Ho An and Saigon.
