'Australia's Best' Launch by Bean Media Group Attracts Praise from Industry Professionals

Bean Media Group, based in Sydney, has today unveiled the launch of the impressive-looking magazine, 'Australia's Best Food and Drink'. The industry-specific series of publications kicks off with an in-depth look at the Food and Drink Industry in Australia and has received the thumbs up from many leading Australian companies.

The level of commitment we received for a flagship issue was phenomenal. When you have major Australian companies get involved to the extent that the likes of SPC Ardmona and Red Rooster have, you tend to know that the magazine will be something special. Australia's Best Food and Drink looks fantastic and we are proud to offer it to the industry.

It was announced at the end of 2007 that the company would be producing the series of publications but today has seen the showcase first issue being sent to the press. Whilst the magazine will not be available to industry for another two weeks, the first glimpse was certainly impressive.

'Australia's Best Food and Drink' is a glossy, A4 publication with a focus on supply chain management within the industry. Bean Media Group has received massive backing for the first edition of Australia's Best, with support coming from major Australian companies such as Drakes FoodMarkets, Bartter Enterprises, Bidvest, SPC Ardmona, Australian Fast Foods (Red Rooster) and the Hardy Wine Company to name but a few.

In addition to strong commitment from such companies, Bean Media Group has also received advertising involvement from the Australian Government promoting their '2 Fruit and 5 Veggies' campaign and John O'Brien, who is the Chairman of the Franchise Council of Australia. has written a foreward for the franchise section.

The series of 'Australia's Best' should continue to impress industry-professionals as Bean Media Group also revealed the second installment of the range of publications -- next up will be 'Australia's Best Manufacturing', due for release at the end of May 2008.

A spokesperson on behalf of Bean Media Group revealed the interest in the first issue of Australia's Best.

"When we first announced to the press that we were producing a new style of publication focussing on supplier-relationships, the interest was solid right from the start. There are many industry-specific magazines out there, but the approach we wanted to take with Australia's Best, was very much looking at the importance of supply chain management and highlighting the roles that suppliers play in companies' success.
