Fifth largest distributor in the Australian National Electricity Market turns to Adaptive Business Intelligence.

Under the terms of the agreement, SolveIT Software will use its proprietary predictive platform to develop a prediction system for network reliability "what-if" analysis. Based on the latest advances in artificial intelligence, the delivered software will be used by ETSA Utilities to explore the impact of different failure rates for different types of assets, and the impact of weather on the State or across different regions.

ETSA Utilities is the electricity distribution business for the state of South Australia. The primary role of ETSA Utilities is the safe and reliable delivery of electricity from high voltage transmission network connection points to residential and business customers throughout most of the state. Serving 782,000 customers, ETSA Utilities supports a network comprising 377 zone substations and about 85,000 kilometres of powerlines valued at approximately $2.5 billion. Employing more than 1600 people, ETSA Utilities is the fifth largest distributor in the Australian National Electricity Market.
