The award recognises BigHand's excellence as the developer of the leading digital dictation workflow system BigHand3 and remote working suite including BlackBerry dictation, along with outstanding commercial performance.

The Legal Technology Awards recognise and celebrate excellence in the provision and implementation of technology solutions for the benefit of legal practice. BigHand fought off strong competition for this year's Best of Breed title, with contenders including DD supplier Winscribe, as well as business process management and support systems. The analysis of the merits and contributions of each provider was undertaken by a panel of 6 highly respected legal technology experts.
