American Tire Corporation Denies Involvement in Alpha Mining Systems' Trade Secret Case

American Tire Corporation (ATC) has denied any involvement or relationship with Alpha Mining Systems' trade secret case as reported in the Herald-Tribune newspaper on January 31, 2008.

Chino, Calif. (PRWEB) February 4, 2008 -- American Tire Corporation (ATC) has denied any involvement or relationship with Alpha Mining Systems' trade secret case as reported in the article "Tire maker wins trade secret case" published in the Herald-Tribune, a Sarasota, Florida newspaper, on January 31, 2008.

According to this article, "Sam Vance, Alpha's sales and marketing manager at the time, was found guilty by 12th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Robert W. McDonald Jr. of giving a pair of overseas competitors everything they needed to steal business away from the Sarasota company." "Alpha Mining Systems, a global manufacturer of industrial mining tires, has won a $19.7 million judgment against a former employee for handing out the company's trade secrets in 2005."

In this article, ATC is mentioned as follows: "For example, Del-Nat Tire Corp. and American Tire Corp. were buying a combined average of $1.9 million per month from Alpha until April 2005, when they stopped buying anything."

Based on the article "Tire maker wins trade secret case", ATC has received many enquiries from its global clients regarding the reported trade secret case handled by 12th Judicial Circuit Court Judge Robert W. McDonald Jr.

However, ATC has never involved in the reported case, nor information has been heard prior to this article. Accordingly, American Tire Corporation has to make the following declarations:

1. The full business name "American Tire Corporation" (ATC) is a legal name registered with the U.S. government. ATC will investigate into any use of the company name that it believes a false misrepresentation.

2. American Tire Corporation has neither heard of both Alpha Mining Systems and its defendant Sam Vance, nor any business with them.

3. Also, as a government supported U.S. OTR tire manufacturer, ATC has neither involved in any illegal activity, nor any intention to involve in any illegal activity. ATC has no reasons to do business and in fact has never done any business with Alpha Mining Systems' Chinese competitor Guizhou Tire Co.

4. ATC has its own technology and engineering team to develop all sizes of OTR tires. ATC objects to any theft or misappropriation of any business entity's trade secret or confidential information.

5. ATC appreciates any legal protection against business secret and intellectual property.

Aiming to become the largest and best manufacturer for 63" and 57" tires, American Tire Corporation is a well-established OTR tire manufacturer which has created a few FIRST in the OTR tire industry. If any one has questions on the above declaration, please feel free to contact ATC through http://www.americantire.us.
