New Web Series Launched Featuring Hispanic Cast

Animal Nation, the first web-based sitcom to feature a Latino Cast, launches to acclaim. The web series, which is gaining popularity during the current writers' strike, is produced by Mexican animator Sergio Lebrija and animation portal aniBoom.com.

The series, which follows the adventures and misadventures of six animal roommates, features a Latino leading character, Polo the Chicken. With the current TV writers' strike and the lack of new sitcom episodes on traditional media, Animal Nation has been enjoying extra visibility and popularity online.
