(PRWEB) February 7, 2008 -- The United National Football League announced today that it has signed two licensed franchises in Texas..that will form the foundation of the league's initial season set to kick-off in January 2009.The leagues front office will soon announce the home locations of both organizations and contact information.
The United National Football League is like no other league that has come before it. The UNFL is the first true professional developmental league focused on getting its athletes to the next level. The league is designed to create professional development opportunities for collegiate players who have the desire and physical ability to pursue this chosen career path. Similar to the minor league farm systems designed for the other professional sports, i.e. MLB, in which players compete against other top prospects throughout the country, the UNFL intends to do the same.
