Henry Ford makes a dynamic impact on Florida College.

It is up to us to make a difference

Palm Beach, Florida "It is up to us to make a difference", says Henry Ford. "If we do not take responsibility and empower ourselves, who will teach and lead our future?" Henry Ford is PR Manager for World Food Association, a full service corporate acquisitions holding company. Ford speaks out today in front of several hundred local students attending Hillsborough Community College, Fall Fling. The local community college puts together a semester festival to encourage their students and provide for their students local and global resources. "It's easy for the young adults to get distracted and discouraged; they're so much for them to worry about not only in the world, but in their own backyards", says one student advisor Emily Paul.

Ford brought to HCC's backyard, his own experiences and background to help the students relate to someone who knows what it is like to struggle. "I worked odds and end jobs all my life, making just enough to get by". "It wasn't until I decided that no one was going to help me unless I put forth the effort to help me, first", stated Ford. Ford is CEO and President of what is now considered to be a multi-million dollar holding company of 18 other major corporations, ranging from commercial and residential real-estate, franchises, alternative fuel projects, banking projects, a community of small businesses, and business owners network.

Ford's donations are not calculated but some sources have stated that they would estimate that he has donated more than 5M dollars to three collegiate institutions. He has always been a savvy and unique individual and this type of donation is not unusual for him. He currently is seeking to help newer schools develop specific programs for young minorities. The areas of interest for Mr. Ford are always poverty stricken and locations that have demonstrated lack of alumni funding.
