Five years after becoming President and Chief Executive Officer, Karl Wellner has acquired 100% of Papamarkou Asset Management from the Trust of Alexander Papamarkou.
Papamarkou Asset Management was founded in 1982 to provide guidance on investment matters to wealthy private clients. Today, the firm, an SEC-registered investment adviser, works with clients whose accounts amount to several billion dollars of assets. It provides personal investment services to high net worth individuals, family offices and institutions, domestic as well as international.
Papamarkou Asset Management arranges for its clients to invest with some of the top performing managers across the asset classes, including hedge funds, private equity and real estate. The firm's composite net annualized return over the last three years has been in excess of 18%.
