The IBL's Newest Team, The Los Angeles Lightning, Searches For Spokes Model to Be Crowned Miss Lightning 2008; Adds Valley Tryouts
The LA Lightning Adds Second Try-Out Round For San Fernando & Conejo Valley's
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 22, 2008 -- Los Angeles Lightning, the newest addition the IBL league, which will begin playing in April of this year, is launching a spokes model search. The first tryout is Thursday, Feb. 21 in LA and they just added a second round of try outs to cover the San Fernando Valley and Conejo Valley. The location, date and time will only be given out to the ladies as they confirm through emailing: misslightning@itgirlpublicrelations.com.
The 2008 Miss Lightning will assist the team in its community outreach, public relations efforts, charitable appearances and act as an extension of the team. Miss Lightning needs to have strong communication skills, have general basketball knowledge, be driven towards success, be poised and confident, outgoing, and have a fresh wholesome look.
To be considered for this exciting role, you must be between the ages of 21-27, demonstrate service in the community as well as personal successes in academics or career and must reside in/around LA to be able to attend all home games and have availability for travel and appearances.
Each girl will need to bring a photo or head shots and complete an application form upon arrival. The ladies will be interviewed by the judges looking for that special "It" factor spokes model qualities. Three finalists will be selected and then narrowed down to the winner whom will be announced at opening game.

Judges include: Los Angeles Lightning Owner and General Manager Mark Harwell; ItGirl Public Relations President, Juliette Harris; Actor Jason Gedrick of Desperate Housewives; Cindy Margolis, the Internet's most downloaded woman; Extra Virgin Skin Care CEO, Kelly Rubin; and Life Coach/speaker/author Burrel Wilkes III.
