Sixth Volume in Suspense Series Provides Thrills and Chills

Author's latest installment weaves expert tale of terror, intrigue, faith.

Longwood, FL (PRWEB) February 24, 2008 -- As the newly released sixth book in author Peter Hess' popular Gohan Thriller Series, The Geisha Connection ($21.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-679-9) is another expertly-constructed tale of terror, intrigue, faith, and God's timely intervention. Gohan Rice's missionary tour in Tokyo, Japan, is interrupted when he is contacted by the head of the Japanese secret-service and informed that they were in the midst of major criminal activity that, if not stopped, could affect the entire world's economy. Gohan and his new friend, Yomaguchi, go undercover in an attempt to thwart the enemy power thrust, but as a result, Gohan's life becomes endangered. An old friend from Gohan's past is kidnapped by the same group and he and Yomaguchi frantically search through Japan, Okinawa and Guam trying to find her.

Says Hess, a former military man and retired business owner, "The Geisha Connection is a Christian fiction novel that allows the reader the ability to enjoy a good thriller without the foul language and sexual innuendo that accompanies most thriller novels. This is the sixth book in a popular Christian fiction series about a war hero turned missionary who, while traveling the globe, constantly finds himself in terrifying situations."

Hess is no stranger to fiction, having previously penned 11 Christian fiction novels in his long career as a writer. His books center on the power and goodness of God and the need for Christians to abandon themselves completely to Him.

Xulon Press, a part of Salem Communications Corporation, is the world's largest Christian publisher, with more than 5,000 titles published to date. Retailers may order The Geisha Connection through Ingram Book Company and/or Spring Arbor Book Distributors. Salem Communications is the country's leading Christian communications company with interests in radio, Internet, and magazine publishing.
