Global Mesh Technologies To Implement Ad-hoc Interoperable Wireless Network For First Responders In Santa Cruz County (Nogales, AZ)

Santa Cruz County, AZ, takes steps towards increasing interoperability with Global Mesh Technologies and CAMMS

Santa Ana, CA (PRWEB) February 25, 2008 -- Global Mesh Technologies (GMT) today announced that it has won a competitive bid to install an Ad-hoc First Responder Interoperable Wireless Network for Santa Cruz County, AZ. GMT will utilize its CAMMS™ (Command Anywhere Media Management System) software and hardware products as part of Santa Cruz County's countywide wireless project.

This is vital in regional incidents of a catastrophic nature. And especially applicable where disparate smaller agencies must team together to protect their citizens; where mobility and ad-hoc connectivity can have a great impact in how law enforcement and fire personnel manage incidents.
"Improving first responder communications across operational lines is critical in major incidents and events," stated Mr. Raul Mavis, Santa Cruz County's IT Director. "This is vital in regional incidents of a catastrophic nature. And especially applicable where disparate smaller agencies must team together to protect their citizens; where mobility and ad-hoc connectivity can have a great impact in how law enforcement and fire personnel manage incidents."

GMT will be demonstrating CAMMS™ software and hardware products at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), booth # 1376 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from February 27-29, 2008.
