Puritan Revitalizes Business and Sets Aggressive Goals for 2008

Puritan announces the company is obtaining new business, securing new strategic partnerships and expanding its staff of test and assembly experts to accommodate the growth expected for 2008.

Wixom, Mich. (PRWEB) February 27, 2008 -- Puritan, a specialized test and manufacturing equipment provider, announces the company is obtaining new business, securing new strategic partnerships and expanding its staff of test and production experts to accommodate the growth expected for 2008.

The company already has secured several large projects including a domestic automotive original equipment manufacturer and multiple Tier One suppliers of automotive heating systems.

One project involves the high-volume manufacture of a new global test system standard for a major automotive OEM, while other projects involve the design and build of complex test systems for Tier1 product development projects. These projects further support Puritan's growth strategy with a strong emphasis on component test systems.

Puritan is in the process of passing rigorous standards to become an associate alliance partner with National Instruments. The partnership allows Puritan to deliver high quality systems for test and measurement, and automation and assembly equipment to its customers.

Puritan also has become an authorized FANUC Robotics integrator. FANUC Robotics is an industry leader, and Puritan Automation has the expertise to incorporate any of FANUC's robot models to meet the needs of manufacturing challenges.

For its staff, Puritan has hired Wayne Keiser as a Senior Sales engineer. Keiser will apply his experience to assist customers needing test and automation equipment and services. Keiser has 25 years of experience in the sales and engineering activities, and most recently worked in engineering and sales for Novi Precision Products in Brighton, Michigan.

Also joining the Puritan Team are Taft Taylor and John Adams, both formerly of Novi Precision, who will support growth in the machine build capabilities at Puritan.
