PokerNews and Full Tilt Poker Come Together to Host $100,000 in World Series Freerolls

PokerNews and Full Tilt Poker (http://www.pokernews.com/full-tilt-poker) host $100,000 worth of World Series of Poker* Freerolls (http://www.pokernews.com/freeroll-tournaments/) giving players eight chances to win their way to this fantastic event. All freerolls are exclusive to PokerNews players and the first one begins on Sunday March 9 at 15:00 EST.

Melbourne, Vic (PRWEB) March 1, 2008 -- PokerNews together with Full Tilt Poker (http://www.pokernews.com/full-tilt-poker) announce the launch of $100,000 worth of World Series of Poker* (WSOP*) Freerolls (http://www.pokernews.com/freeroll-tournaments/). That's eight opportunities for you to take home a $12,500 package to the most prestigious poker tournament in the world. The first freeroll begins Sunday March 9 at 15:00 EST.

Returning for the 39th year is the world's most successful poker event - the 2008 World Series of Poker*. Beginning May 30 at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino, expect to see some of the world's biggest and best poker identities come together and compete to become the ultimate poker champion. The WSOP* will feature 55 different events with the Main Event kicking off on Thursday July 3.

Winners of this $12,500 Team PokerNews Freeroll Package will receive entry into the $10,000 Main Event plus $2,500 cash for travel and accommodation. Package winners also receive an array of merchandise to take home, full Team PokerNews membership and a special invite to the Team PokerNews Welcome Party.

To qualify, download Full Tilt Poker through PokerNews, register a new account and make a deposit. Players must then earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points within the specified qualification windows. Following that, qualified players must click the registration link in the lobby and confirm registration when prompted (this can be done anytime during the qualification period). Players who already have a Full Tilt Poker account can still compete provided they have signed up through PokerNews and fulfilled all other entry requirements.

The eight freerolls along with their qualification windows are as follows;

Sunday March 9 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from February 25 - March 8)
Sunday March 23 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from March 9 - 22)
Sunday April 6 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from March 23 - April 5)
Sunday April 20 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from April 6 - 19)
Sunday May 4 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from April 20 - May 3)
Sunday May 18 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from May 4 - 17)
Saturday May 31 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from May 18 - 30)
Monday June 16 (Earn 300 Full Tilt Poker Points from May 31 - June 15)

All eight freerolls begin at 15:00 EST and are exclusive to PokerNews players. Requirements remain the same for all keeping in mind the different qualification windows for each freeroll.
