Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray has agreed to write and edit the story of notorious former thug and dumpster diver Ricky Pitts, who is now a dean and a minister

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 3, 2008 -- Popular Weekend Radio Personality Roy Gray, host of the syndicated radio report "Roy's Koncert Konnection," has agreed to write the compelling story of former notorious gangster and homeless dumpster diver Ricky Pitts.

Gray says Pitts is getting wordwide attention on Gray's jazz show entitled "Jazz, Joy, and Roy."

According to Gray, who recently made a brief publicity appearance with Pitts during Gospel Night at "BB Kings" in California, "My man Ricky deserves the universal attention he is getting on my show."

In an on-air promo that runs in heavy rotation in over 60 different countries, Gray tells listeners, "Ricky was chosen as a guest in celebration of his changing his life from (that of) the thug world and a 15 year drop into homelessness and daily dumpster-diving...to his current life as a full-time, highly esteemed dean and fervent servant of God."

Gray is writing and editing the book, and is asking the public to write to the literary wing of the William Morris Agency, and encourage the agency to request samples of what is tentatively titled "The Ricky Pitts Story: Dumpster To Dean."
