Hearing Central LLC, an American manufacturer and Internet retailer of digital hearing aids, announces the Melody™ line of Open Ear Hearing aids available in three models. The hearing aids are available to anyone on two of the company's websites: www.hearingaidscentral.com and www.hearingaidcentral.com.

Lake Forest, IL (PRWEB) March 7, 2008 -- Hearing Central LLC announces three models of their Melody™ open ear hearing aids (also known as open fit hearing aids) available to consumers on the company's websites: www.hearingaidscentral.com and www.hearingaidcentral.com. Costing between $495 and $895, the open ear hearing aids offer a Behind the Ear (BTE) form factor with the latest digital hearing aid technology.

The Melody A1 hearing aid model sells for $495 USD and has two channels and 12 bands and is helpful for moderate hearing loss up to 70dB: the Melody A2 hearing aid model sells for $695 USD and has 4 channels, 12 bands, and is helpful for moderate to severe hearing loss up to 80 dB: The Melody A3 hearing aid model sells for $895 USD and has 4 channels, omni-directional microphones, and the12 bands are programmable for severe to profound hearing losses up to 90 dB.

Each hearing aid weighs less than an ounce and is 1" long and ''3/16'' wide and comes in three colors: beige, charcoal, and silver. An almost invisible narrow tube connects the hearing aid to a small ''bud'' that fits in the ear canal. The bud has holes it for a more balanced listening experience. The combination of small size and transparent tube make the hearing aid almost invisible and very comfortable to wear.

According to Phil Wyatt, CEO of hearing Central LLC, the technology and clear sound amplification of these advanced digital hearing aids is equal to or better than similar models from other manufacturers costing thousands of dollars more. He states that most open ear hearing aids prices begin at $1,600 each from USA retail outlets.

The company's websites also have three different In-the-Ear hearing aid models costing between $295 USD and $695 USD.

The company ships its hearing aids world-wide and are available to anyone on two of the company's websites: www.hearingaidscentral.com and www.hearingaidcentral.com
