www.MyGiftsGaloreWorld.com has begun a new customer blog at www.CyCom3.com, allowing customers to give feedback and ask questions in order to help the business grow. Owner David Cyphers says this is the next big step in improving his customers' overall experience.

With the opening of www.CyCom3.com, David has opened up a blog forum where his customers can communicate with him directly, giving feedback about his business and asking questions about his products.

"I'm going to use the blog to get to know the customer," explains David, who began selling merchandise via Amazon in 1999 and opened his own web site in 2007. "I want to use the blog to communicate with people -- with customers, with people who have questions about products that I have -- in order to be informative. Not to use it just to sell, but to use it as a helpful guide. Many people don't understand the web, and how you can buy things with a credit card or PayPal and have it be secure. I want them to know that when they purchase from my site, it's secure; I don't get any of that credit information whatsoever."

More than simply using the blog as an informational resource, David plans on opening up dialogue with his shoppers. "I want to use the blog to get feedback from people, because that's the only way I can learn what they're thinking," he explains. "eCommerce is a faceless, bodiless business; it's not like going to a brick and mortar store. Still, I feel it's one of the best, safest, and most convenient ways to shop. The only way I can grow in knowledge of what I need to do is to get feedback, good and bad -- I take the good and progress further with it, and if someone has something bad to say then I can take it and see what it was I did and turn it around to make it good."

Of course, good customer service starts with providing a quality product. "I'm a consumer also, so when I go buy things, I want something that's of good value for my money. That's how I view the products that I sell. They have to match up to what I would buy, or what my family would buy, or if I were to recommend it to a close friend."
