For Sale By Owner Website Has Higher Resolution Property Videos

Fizber.com's new feature gives home-buyers the grand tour of their dream house on streaming video. This homes for sale by owner website is dedicated to providing efficient, cutting-edge tools and services to homeowners who prefer to advertise without the assistance of a real estate agent.

Miami Beach, FL (PRWEB) March 17, 2008 - For-Sale-By-Owner website Fizber.com now launches Fizber Video, which showcases high resolution videos of for-sale houses to thousands of potential buyers on YouTube. YouTube has recently started making available higher resolution versions of its videos, offering 480×360 videos as well as higher quality audio.

YouTube has always greatly limited the resolution of their videos to conserve on bandwidth, but going forward that may not always be the case. YouTube videos that are higher quality (not all are) have a link below the video that says "Watch this video in higher quality."

To use Fizber Video, customers make a video tour of their home and upload it, along with photographs and other details, on the Fizber website. The video is then added to the home listing, as well as uploaded on YouTube.com, generating even more exposure for the listing.

"Home-buyers can now watch YouTube high quality videos by default," says Julia Foster, Fizber.com VP of marketing. "Download time is slower, but with a good internet connection, you won't notice anything but the higher quality video." As broadband Internet makes its way into more homes, there's no reason why YouTube couldn't up the quality so that viewers have a better experience.

Once users save the settings, the higher-quality videos will play when they are available. This way they'll never have to click the link below the video to "watch this video in higher quality." If it seems to be loading slow, they do include the link to go back to the lower quality video.

"Fizber Video benefits buyers hugely as well, allowing them to really check out a house before making a trip to the property in person. It saves them time, money and effort," says Foster. "It can also make a home listing more alive and appealing to potential buyers."
