Penis Musical Comes Down Under
The Sydney Tongue-In-Cheek Kielbasa Yankers ("S.T.I.C.K.Y.") are proud to welcome to our fair city the ten-minute version of the American Musical, "Henry & Hyde" - the comic retelling of the classic tale of a man, a porn star and his talking, singing and dancing talleywacker.
(PRWEB) March 22, 2008 -- The Sydney Tongue-In-Cheek Kielbasa Yankers ("S.T.I.C.K.Y.") are proud to welcome to our fair city the ten-minute version of the American Musical, "Henry & Hyde," the outrageous musical take-off of the classic "Jeckyll & Hyde" story. It was selected among stiff competition as one of the ten short musicals to be performed between March 26, 2008 and April 5, 2008 at the Short & Sweet + Song 2008 Festival.
Written by American authors, J. M. Eisenman and Thomas Adams, the show features Henry Jeckyll, the milquetoast accountant, his encounter with porn star, Mary and his journey to sexual freedom led by the life-size personification of his penis, the flamboyant and hysterical, Hyde. It is directed by the highly acclaimed Adam Gelin and stars the brilliant Brendan Irving, Rainey Francis and Brad Dylan.
The musical, deemed too controversial by several American theatres, is bound to hit the spot Down Under and will potentially be the catalyst of bigger things to come. The Festival will be performed at the Downstairs Theatre in the Seymour Centre at the University of Sydney.
