Apocket Bleu Makes Finals of The Break Competition

Apocket Bleu builds on reputation as one of New Jersey's hottest bands.

(PRWEB) April 3, 2008 -- On Sunday March 30th, The Stone Pony, Asbury Park's legendary night club, welcomed back Apocket Bleu to perform as semi-finalists in The Break contest. The Break is the official contest for The Bamboozle East, an annual multi-day concert held at The Meadowlands. Local bands continue to compete in a multiple round elimination process that will award bands a set at the renowned music fest. Of note is the fact that this contest started with 160 bands and has been narrowed down to 20 for the finals. Seven bands will emerge to appear at the festival following the last contest on April 19th.

Apocket Bleu has performed at The Stone Pony on several occasions and was invited back to compete for a spot on the big stage at The Meadowlands on May 3rd and 4th, 2008.

The perfect performance landed the band in the final round of the contest. They will play again on Saturday April 19th, time tba.
