Specialized Productions Inc. Played Key Role for New PA Hollywood Casino

Specialized Productions Inc. served as Penn National Gaming's exclusive owner's representative in designing and implementing the complex audio visual system currently operating within Penn National Gaming's newest Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.

Kutztown, PA (PRWEB) April 18, 2008 -- Specialized Productions Inc. served as Penn National Gaming's exclusive owner's representative in designing and implementing the complex audio visual system currently operating within Penn National Gaming's newest Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.

In addition to designing the casino's overall audio visual system, Specialized Productions Inc. produced HD motion graphics for the facility's 77-foot serpentine video ribbon that greets patrons as they enter the main entrance of the casino. SPI - in collaboration with WAX NYC - a Manhattan-based audio production house -produced signature Hollywood-branded musical scores to highlight these HD images.

HCPN's general manager Gary Luderitz said, "We knew we wanted some extraordinary entertainment
technology at Hollywood Casino, but we were also aware of the expertise that it would take to make it come alive. The SPI team, under Mike Tully's guidance, helped us layout a creative plan and then put together a stunning graphics package that wowed us and our customers. They were confident in their talents and backed it up with an on-time delivery, going out of their way to make sure we were 100% satisfied. We loved working with them."

SPI also produced imagery for "Hollywood on the Roof," the casino floor entertainment lounge. This 90-foot wide by 34-foot tall by 60-foot deep Imax-Style projection screen displays a multitude of video entertainment. SPI created various "scenes" to simulate a rooftop that overlooks a personalized cityscape. Concurrently, SPI produced various atmospheric themes - such as a thunderstorm sequence - accentuated by sound effects to create a more realistic outdoor experience.

SPI produced HD motion graphics for another spot on the casino floor - the "Media Blitz" area. Movie trailers and cameos of contemporary and legendary Hollywood stars intermingle with custom HD motion images that are synchronized on multiple plasma monitors.
"Our entire team is proud to witness the final outcome unfold after several months of production time to make this Hollywood Casino come alive through ground-breaking HD digital technology," said SPI's VP Mike Tully. "We wanted to create the ultimate Hollywood experience for casino patrons and I believe we succeeded in doing so. As soon as guests walk through the main casino entrance, they will be captivated by sensory overload that rivals any Las Vegas Casino."

Specialized Productions Inc., a Kutztown-based company founded in 2004, produce HD motion graphics as well as 3-D animation. SPI's other focus is on designing complex audio visual systems. In this respect, they provide independent AV design consultants to advise clients on digital signage, lighting, sound, image and control. For more information: http://www.specializedproductions.com
