HHN Homes Adds Exclusive Audio-Visual and Lighting Control Capabilities to Their Townhomes in Houston

Houston's Premier Inner-loop builder HHN Homes offers first-to-market RadioRA system. RadioRA is a unique audio-visual/lighting control system allowing homeowners to control pre-programmed lighting zones and audio-visual equipment.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) April 26, 2008 -- Consistently a leader in the latest finishes and features of inner loop living, HHN Homes has recently added RadioRA, a unique audio-visual/lighting control system, standard to many of their Houston townhomes under construction and as an available upgrade to any previously completed HHN home.

This state of the art touch screen system allows homeowners to control pre-programmed lighting zones throughout their entire townhome from one central location. In addition to RadioRA's lighting functionality, the product also has the capability to be programmed to work with any remote infrared device- most notably, cable, DVD, and stereo equipment. The system comes standard with one touch screen, offering ease of operation from a central location in the townhome; additionally, the RadioRA may be upgraded to have multiple touch screens throughout the townhome or be powered via a beautiful color touch screen remote.

In all my years of designing and building homes that are unique and fresh, I am most excited about our new Radio RA automation system. Not only is it cutting edge and multifunctional, it is just plain fun!
Aside from the functionality of controlling the townhome's electronic devices, RadioRA is also able to provide supreme energy efficiency. The pre-programmed dimmer levels allow the Houston townhomes owner to control much of the townhome's energy use from a single location, while creating ambient lighting scenes that mimic and enhance the varying phases of the day.

For those for whom security is a top priority, RadioRA offers two key features that can provide added peace of mind when entering or exiting the townhome. With the purchase of a specialized garage door opener, all the lights in the townhome can be controlled from the car, ensuring that townhome owners never have to enter a dark townhome. The system also includes a moveable outlet powered control pad that, with one touch, flashes the lights in the townhome on an off repeatedly, creating an impressive alert system and guiding fire or police help to the townhome quickly in the black of night.

"In all my years of designing and building homes that are unique and fresh, I am most excited about our new Radio RA automation system. Not only is it cutting edge and multifunctional, it is just plain fun!" said Linda Stewart, Administrative Director of HHN Homes.

Another exciting component of this system is its great versatility, as each townhome owner works with HHN Home's design center and field programmers to customize this system to their individual needs. As a standard, RadioRA will control 3 light zones throughout the home, most typically the master suite, living room, and entry way; but, these zones may be moved to different areas throughout the home or the entire home may be programmed. The system's cable control capability is also entirely customizable allowing favorite channels to be programmed as touch buttons, granting immediate access to favorite shows or digital music channels. As any individual device with an infrared powered remote can be programmed to work with RadioRA, the sky is the limit to the control the Houston townhome owner can have in their home due to the increasing number of infrared devices -- ceiling fans, window coverings, and iPod docking and speaker systems to name a few.
