Temecula, CA (PRWEB) May 8, 2008 -- Scouring flea markets and auctions on weekends is where one will likely find Cheryl Johannes, owner of Casual Cottage Chic, an online boutique where she sells her handmade designs, repurposed vintage wares and vintage wicker furniture. Cheryl has combined her love for the vintage items of yesteryear with today's high-end fabrics, to create some of the most innovative repurposed products on the market today.
From simple beginnings, grew a full time business. Cheryl began selling her products at local craft shows and at the monthly Long Beach Antique/Collectibles Market. What started small quickly mushroomed into a full time job, creating and buying product for a new shop that took over a 1950's cottage on Front Street in Old Towne Temecula. When the cottage was sold to a developer, Cheryl was still able to offer her creative soft furnishings to her established client base and new customers by launching her online boutique, Casual Cottage Chic. Now she ships all over the world!
With her husband's support and his eye for vintage wicker, collecting old treasures and using them in a new way was easy. Casual Cottage Chic originals, like pillows embellished with vintage embroidery pieces and vintage crochet lace, and vintage wicker pieces, are the signature items in her online boutique. Each piece offered for sale is designed or handpicked for quality and uniqueness.
