The Destination "Hot List" for Young Travelers

The Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA), the "voice of student travel," just released three 'top 10' lists ranking US, North America and International hot spots for student and youth travel.

Lake Orion, MI (PRWEB) May 12, 2008 -- he Student and Youth Travel Association (SYTA), the "voice of student travel," just released three 'top 10' lists ranking US, North America and International hot spots for student and youth travel. The May 2008 issue of SYTA's Student & Youth Traveler magazine, the association's official publication that provides teachers/educators with the latest trends and information about the youth and student travel industry, reveals the newest destination rankings compiled from SYTA's 2007 annual member survey which polls student and youth travel industry professionals on current and emerging trends.

"Not surprisingly, many of the traditional student travel destinations pop up in our findings, such as Washington DC and New York City, but it was important to devote separate lists to non-US North American destinations and international countries and cities. Today's youth consider themselves a part of a global community and the educational value of traveling to neighboring cities as well as to the far off cultures of China and Peru is priceless and feasible for students," says Debbie Gibb, Associate Executive Director, SYTA.

SYTA (www.syta.org) is an association comprised of more than 750 members in North America who stay up-to-date with today's youth travel trends and custom tailor trips world-wide including tour operators, destinations, hotels and restaurants, attractions and other student and youth travel focused organizations.

SYTA's Student & Youth Traveler magazine is a leading resource for educators, travel planners, and professionals in the student travel market providing information and tools needed to successfully initiate, organize, and conduct group trips.
