Tampa, FL (PRWEB) May 16, 2008 -- Once again the Annual Knifemakers' Guild Show is coming to Orlando, FL. No one should miss the largest gathering of today's top notch custom knifemakers. After 39 years one might think that the art of knife making would have reached a plateau, but this is not so. The artistry of knifemaking continues to be elevated to a whole new realm of excellence the likes of which must be seen and handled to really appreciate. Custom knifemaking really is fine art.

All those attending the Knifemakers' Guild show will be eligible to win one of the four knives that were made by Warren Osborne, Gayle Bradley, Marvin Solomon and Bill King. These makers were selected to create special knives for this years show. Winners do not have to be present at the drawings.

Custom made knives have been made for Presidents, Governors, movies, celebrities and other owners of knives from all walks of life. Gil Hibben, President of the Knifemakers' Guild is one of many custom knifemakers who have been involved in making knives for the movies. In 1987 Hibben was selected by Sylvester Stallone to create the knife for "Rambo" III. After 20 years Hibben was again called upon to create a knife for 2008 "Rambo" movie.

Do not forget August 1st through August 3rd, when thousands of knife enthusiasts will attend the show, to see and purchase the newest designed knives from Knifemakers' Guild Members. The doors will be opened to all those interested, Friday -- 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seminars have been scheduled for Sunday morning between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. For fun and exciting time watch the Cutting Competitions beginning Sunday at 3 p.m.
