Key West Resort to Hold Dance Party with Lenore Troia and Laura Wood Benefiting Christina's Courage

Pearls' Rainbow, the distinctive hotel for women in Key West, will be holding a dance party to benefit Christina's Courage with musical entertainment provided by Lenore Troia and Laura Woods.

Key West, FL (PRWEB) May 21, 2008 -- Key West's own Lenore Troia and New England's Laura Wood will perform at a women's dance party to benefit Christina's Courage on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at
Pearl's Rainbow. The hotel for women is eager to support Christina's Courage, which is a new center that provides medical care for victims of sexual abuse.

The dance party at Pearl's Rainbow will be held from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 pm on May 24, and will feature Lenore Troia (former Key West singer and entertainer) and Laura Wood (singer, drummer and guitarist from Northampton, MA). The two women will combine forces to offer favorite dance music from all decades.

Proceeds from the party will benefit Christina's Courage, the new center where victims of sexual abuse can receive medical care and counseling while maintaining their anonymity. "This is our first official fundraiser - and we could really use the support," said Darene Cahill, one of the founders of Christina's Courage. "Our center is, sad to say, very badly needed here in Key West."

Great drinks, a 50/50 raffle, an important cause and dancing under the stars to terrific music should make this a very fun evening. A $10 donation at the door will benefit Christina's Courage. The party will be held at Pearl's Rainbow, the only Key West resort for women, which is located at 525 United St. between Duval and Simonton.
