NetBlender Releases DoStudio Blu-ray Authoring Tool

DoStudio Authoring Edition is an affordable GUI-based Blu-ray solution for professional DVD authors making the transition to Blu-ray Disc

Alexandria, VA (PRWEB) May 20, 2008 -- NetBlender today released DoStudio Authoring Edition to its global community of professional Blu-ray developers. DoStudio Authoring Edition (DSA) provides Blu-ray authors an easy-to-learn, GUI based solution for creating professional Blu-ray discs.

"We believe DoStudio Authoring Edition is the ideal tool for DVD authors who are making the transition to Blu-ray disc," said John Harrington, NetBlender CEO. "Rather than simply map a tool to the BD spec, DSA maps the DVD authoring workflow to Blu-ray disc creation. Blu-ray professionals will be amazed by how quickly they can author a disc in DoStudio."

Rather than simply map a tool to the BD spec, DSA maps the DVD authoring workflow to Blu-ray disc creation. Blu-ray professionals will be amazed by how quickly they can author a disc in DoStudio.
The current release is a fully spec-compliant professional authoring tool that creates pop-up menus with Adobe Photoshop® import. Picture-in-picture support will be added in July 2008 and BD-Live templates will arrive in early 2009. DSA includes the Corel Pure HD multiplexer and supports BDCMF formatting and AACS encapsulation.
