FireThread Names Two to Senior Executive Staff
FireThread, a Schenectady-based full-service interactive Web design and custom software development firm, today announced the addition of two key members to its senior marketing team - Edward Behan as the director of business development and Melina Iacovone as the director of marketing.

Edward Behan has joined the company as the director of business development and Melina Iacovone as the director of marketing.

In his new role at FireThread, Mr. Behan will manage the sales department while working closely with the marketing team to develop ongoing sales engagements. Behan will also serve as FireThread's representative for all media events.
Mr. Behan brings more than twenty years of experience in marketing and sales management to FireThread, as well as an extensive background in direct response database marketing and b-to-b marketing. Most recently, Mr. Behan served as a senior account manager at The VisComm Group in Albany, N.Y. where he managed all client advertising and marketing activities and played a significant role to increase revenue generated by client accounts.
He earned his bachelor's of science degree in advertising and graphic design from The College of St. Rose.
Melina J. Iacovone
In her new role at FireThread, Ms. Iacovone will plan and execute FireThread's overall marketing goals to ensure the success of its programs and client projects and track and evaluate marketing trends and analytics as it relates to FireThread and its clients.
Ms. Iacovone brings to FireThread nine years' experience working in marketing communications and brand management. Previously, she served as a senior account executive at Media Logic in Albany, N.Y. for Visa Financial, working closely with their partner banks and co-brand partners.
Ms. Iacovone earned her master's of social welfare from Stony Brook University and her bachelor's of science degree in biochemistry from Buffalo State College.
