PassmoreLab Provides 3D View Of San Diego's Villa Montezuma

San Diego historical site renown for its mysterious past is filmed in 3D by PassmoreLab.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) July 10, 2008 -- Adding to its list of 3D filming firsts, PassmoreLab recently sent in a team of videographers to capture the unusual architecture, style, ambiance and imagery associated with San Diego's Villa Montezuma. Built in 1887, this extraordinary architectural masterpiece was designed by, and home to, a colorful and controversial individual named Francis Grierson (also known as Jesse Shepard). Grierson was a musician, composer, pianist, and spiritualist who used his music as a method of calling up the dead. He was also rumored to be talented in the process of performing seances.

Although the current caretakers prefer to call the home "enchanted," an internet search quickly reveals a wealth of stories associated with hauntings at the Villa Montezuma. PassmoreLab founder and President, Greg Passmore, said the 3D film they captured, "shows why this residence continues to be listed as one of the world's leading haunted houses. With its intricate design and fine detail the facility seems perfect for seances, possessions and revival of the dead."

The film is intended for the museum circuit and has been designed for viewing on the new Samsung and Mitsubishi 3D televisions. By using 3D, PassmoreLab aims to provide viewers with a more immersive and realistic glimpse into San Diego's past.     "For the first time we've been able to capture a 3D film about this special place and we've made every effort to capture the feeling you get by being there."
