The program was launched in March 2008 and the first rollout included airport locations in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Dallas. Orders for the Cool Car Display Pads are now coming in from Avis locations throughout the U.S.
The easy-to-install modular flooring tile, noted for their durability and SWISS DESIGN, was found to be a great match for Avis' Cool Car program. In some locations where the car display pads are installed which highlight the collection, customers have been opting to upgrade to one of the Cool Car vehicles.
