San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 5, 2008
CentralDispatch™ (http://www.CentralDispatch.com), the automobile industry's transportation marketplace, today announced the addition of online contracts to their vehicle transportation management system. When used in conjunction with other CentralDispatch.com features, online contracts allow users to manage the entire vehicle transportation process online, in a single location. Managing contracts electronically greatly increases the speed and efficiency of the entire transportation process and centralizes record keeping, benefiting dealers, as well as auctions and carriers.
In the past, contracts were generally faxed back and forth between dealers and carriers, and there was no electronic copy of contracts. Contracts could also be sent digitally via email, but electronic signatures were not available, so the signatures still had to be faxed back and forth. CentralDispatch's new online contracts include electronic signatures, so faxes are no longer required to complete vehicle transportation.
Further, dealers can now have more control over the process by simply copying and pasting their own contracts on CentralDispatch.com. The new feature is fast and easy to use and contracts can now be managed in minutes, rather then hours or days. CentralDispatch strives to continually improve the speed and ease of managing vehicle transportation and the new feature is the latest advancement in continuous improvement for dealers, auctions and carriers.
"We get a lot of feedback from CentralDispatch.com users and we take it very seriously," commented Joe Steinberger, VP of Product and Business Development for CentralDispatch. "Contracts remained an extremely 'manual,' often time-consuming part of transporting vehicles. Both dealers and carriers requested our help to digitize contracts and provide a single location to include contracts with the other transaction information. We've now fulfilled the request and users have been really pleased with the increased efficiency and ease of documentation."
CentralDispatch.com came online in 1999 as a way for vehicle shippers to easily connect with carriers. It has since transformed the auto transport industry, taking if from relying on paper faxes and phones, to utilizing an efficient central database on the Internet. Today, thousands of dealers, transport brokers, auctions, manufacturers, rental car companies, salvage yards and others access CentralDispatch on a daily basis to move vehicles of all types. CentralDispatch has grown into the largest real-time auto transport marketplace. It enables shippers across North America to save time and money when transporting vehicles by providing access to virtually every licensed interstate car carrier in the United States, more than 5,000 carriers.
