Obama and McCain Undressed! A little silliness in serious times
The emperors have no clothes... well sort of. Website allows you to dress candidates in silly outfits.
Brattleboro, VT (PRWEB) September 20, 2008 -- The market is a mess, the Political parties are at each others throats, the nation is divided. The news of the day is fifty percent gloom and forty nine percent doom. We seem to be on a steady course from bad to worse. Fortunately, we live in a dualistic system. Where there is darkness there must also be light. And where the dramas of the world play out in serious tones, bursts of humor shine like beacons of hope. There are countless pages, articles and videos all over the web created to deliver peceptions of truth with humor. One needs only to go to Youtube and type in John McCain, Barack Obama or Sarah Palin to find comedic satire intermixed with scathing criticism. There is even a site where one can dress up Barack Obama. On the surface it seems a pretty juvenile act to put a Paris Hilton wig and a Harlem Globetrotters jersey of the potential next President of the United States but lately the drum of despair has been sounding from the mountain tops and it is getting old. When people feel out of control an illusive substitute for control can be just what the doctor ordered. Put a dress on the future president... A little levity is good medicine.
Once you have Obama decked out in hip hop gear with a bottle of scotch in hand you can pose him in from of the white house, the beach or the apocalypse! And, in the spirit of fair play you can dress up John McCain too. This may be the only place on the web to see John McCain in a Fred Flintstone suit donning a red bandanna and furry pink slippers and wielding an M16. It will turn your frown upside down. It is all done in a spirit of serious silliness in a time where most of the silliness going on is in fact very serious. For those who are wondering, both candidates are wearing briefs.
